FAQ

Q: What should I bring to my appointment?
A: Please bring your Insurance card, your present prescription glasses, and if you are a new patient, any records of your previous eye examinations if done elsewhere.
Q: How long will I be in your office for my visit?
A: For new patient visits, typically 60-80 minutes. For return patients, typically 15-60 minutes, depending on the type of visit.
Q: Will I be able to drive after the exam?
A: Yes. However, if we dilate your eyes and the Sun is out, you will need sunglasses, which we provide. If you have any doubts, please make arrangements for transportation.
Q: Does Dr. Plecha accept my insurance?
A: Please call our office to inquire. We will work with you if you do not have insurance or have an insurance plan in which we do not participate.
Q: What is an ophthalmologist?  
A: An Ophthalmologist is a M.D that specializes in medical and surgical eye problems. They deal with the anatomy, physiology and diseases of the eye and since Ophthalmologist perform operations of the eye they are considered to be both medical and surgical specialists 
Q: Does Dr. Plecha see children and adults?
A: Yes, children age 12 years to adult.
